Guides are written for drivers across Canada, reviewed before publication, and dated so readers can judge how current the information is. Where a rule differs by province, the guide says so.

Sources and numbers

We prefer primary sources such as Transport Canada and provincial government websites. We do not publish a price range, wait time or performance claim unless its source and context can be explained.

Updates

Guides show an updated date. We review time-sensitive claims when the underlying rule, source or local conditions change.

Independence

Editorial claims are not sold. Any paid placement or commercial relationship must be clearly disclosed and kept separate from factual guidance.

If you find an error, contact us. We correct factual mistakes promptly and note the change on the page.
